One of many historic buildings in Allora is the old Commercial Banking Co of Sydney
Building, prominently situated just across from the Railway Hotel.

Allora Railway Station dates back to 1897 but is disused now, along with the grain sheds
alongside. The old wooden sleepers are becoming badly deteriorated.

The Allora Railway Hotel opened in 1902 and is recently renovated. Having stayed there,

The Allora Cottage Bed and Breakfast looks inviting. I hope to stay here overnight
soon.

excellent condition. We were lucky to run into Father John, the priest, and were able to
see inside.
