Aratula - Aratula Hotel Motel
Aratula

We only passed through the edge of Aratula on our way to Boonah and somewhat pressed for time. It is one of the main towns on the highway between Ipswich and the Great Dividing Range and although the pub was fairly unimpressive architecturally, I am sure that the town has more to offer that what I was able to quickly capture as we passed through. We'll be back...

Aratula - St Pauls Lutheran Church

St Pauls Lutheran Church in Aratula looks like quite a substantial building, although it was unfortunately locked when we passed by.

Aratula - St Stephens Anglican Church

With its unusual facade and gazebo-style structure in its grounds, St Stephens Anglican Church in Aratula piques our interest and we'll be back one Sunday to attend Mass there - I'll get some pictures of the inside then.

Aratula - Aratula State School

The Aratula State School Full is quite large and serves children from all around the disctrict.

Aratula - Aratula Hotel Motel

The Aratula Hotel Motel is perfectlty situated to capture passing trade and has a huge car park to cater for it. It was virtually empty however, and our own experience here back in 2004 was very average.
