The main base playing fields need a mow!

We wandered across a huge circular grassed area, wondering why a parade ground would be round. When we spotted the two surviving goal posts, we realised this had been an Australian Rules football field.

The tennis courts were in the western half of the base, overlooking the old mess complex (see separate page)....

...however you may need to mow before serving for the first set!
