Guadalest is a magical small village tucked high into the hills inland from Alicante and Benidorm
on the Costa Blanca. This interesting website gives more
pictures and information on the town. This is a must-visit destination if you are in the area.
For a fantastic, fully authentic regional meal, try the El Riu restaurant on the winding road as it
ascends from the small town of Polop to Guadalest. We stopped there for lunch and still talk about it!
